Wedding at the Citadel and the Marcliffe

Ling and Niall at the Citadel and the Marcliffe

The Citadel was an unusual setting for the service and i wanted to get some shots showing the iconic building and Castlegate area.

The Marcliffe is a great setting for a wedding and we left most of the photography until we got back to the reception.

Wedding at Norwood Hall

Lesley and Jerry at Norwood Hall

I was back at Norwood Hall again on the 28th May for the wedding of Lesley and Jerry. It was a great fun day from the morning getting ready through to the dancing. a few images are below but all of my shots are here and David’s candid shots are here.

Superb bathroom in the suite at Norwood Hall

Norwood is a great setting for photography and one of my favourite venues. We are recommended by Norwood Hall and give a 20×16 canvas to every couple who book us for Norwood Hall. We have a Norwood Hall page on our website – click here

Wedding at Oldmeldrum Parish and Thainstone House

Michelle and Keith at Oldmeldrum and Thainstone House

Oldmeldrum Church was the setting for Michelle and Keith’s wedding and we had planned to take a few shots there and do most of the photography in the grounds at Thainstone. Unfortunately, Keith’s sister, Heather, collapsed in the Church and paramedics had to be called. While they were attending to Heather we carried on taking photographs at the church. Heather made it to the reception where she wanted to have the photographs taken inside so we took some in the drawing room and a few in the grounds of Thainstone House.

Click here to see the images I took, and here for David’s candid shots.

Here is one of several nice emails we got from Keith and Michelle

"Hi Neil
… we shall get selecting our photos and get back to you as soon as possible, although we love all the photos so this could take a bit of time.
We just love the Graphistudio albums and we have seen what you have done for some of our friends and it is just amazing!!
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Wedding at Licklyhead Castle

Katie and Steven at Licklyhead Castle

Last Thursday I had a wedding at Licklyhead Castle, close to Insch in Aberdeenshire. Although it rained, I managed to get some shots outside between the heavier showers and by using brollies. It was a lovely setting and had a lot of character both inside and out.

The service was inside and after the service, we moved the chairs and took some shots in front of the fireplace.

Although it was raining it was worth persevering to get some shpts outside.
