Westdyke Joinery website

We have just completed a new website for a fellow BNI member (Aberdeen North), Mike Paton of Westdyke Joinery.

Mike is quite an active user of social media regularly posting photographs taken on his phone. However for a few projects, he wanted better images and I photographed three projects

  • A whole house renovation (new kitchen, bathroom, doors, and floors),
  • A garden with decking, fencing, with artificial grass.
  • A kitchen install

Andrew Cowie Construction

I was commissioned by Eilidh McCluskie of Bold Street Media to photograph the Colpy Road Development in Oldmeldrum. Eilidh is in BNI North with me, and has moved to the new offices in the Colpy Road Development.

The photograph of two of the tenants (Debra Bruce of Activus Recruitment, and Myles MacDonald of the Co-op) was used in the Press and Journal.

The new Colpy Road Development was built and is owned by Andrew Cowie Construction. Mr Cowie asked Eilidh to organise photographs of the development, the offices, and the Barra suite, a training facility available for hire.

Andrew was pleased with the first shoot:

Hi Neil,

I heard straight back from Andy, and in his words he’s “really impressed” with the photos.

Thanks again,

Andrew and Sarah Hedley both met with me while I was at Oldmeldrum and booked photography of three developments in progress, and completed. These included the new Lidl in progress on Wellington Road, the Triple Kirks development, and the new Hoover Ferguson facility at Portlethen.

I got another brief email reply re the subsequent shoots:

Really good stuff

I am looking forward to photographing more projects for Andrew Cowie Construction.

Heavy Haulage by Colin Lawson Transport

It was a 5.45am start on Thursday where I had to meet two Colin Lawson vehicles at the Global Energy Group Nord Centre facility. I was photographing the loading of 4 huge steel structures on to two low loaders to go across the road to be loaded onto a boat. These shots are to be used to show the Colin Lawson heavy haulage services. They operate one of the largest fleet of heavy haulage vehicles in the North east of Scotland, with a multitude of variable low loader trailers.
