INTERIOR PHOTOGRAPHY

Spaces designed to be seen.

Commercial interior photography is about much more than showing what a space looks like. It captures the design, atmosphere, craftsmanship and purpose behind it — creating images that communicate the quality of the environment and the business or brand it represents.

At aberdeenphoto.com, we photograph interiors for architects, interior designers, hotels, restaurants, retailers, offices and businesses across a wide range of commercial environments. Careful composition, an understanding of perspective and considered use of natural and additional lighting allow us to create clean, accurate and visually engaging photographs.

Whether the images are destined for a website, architectural portfolio, design publication, awards submission, brochure, PR or wider marketing campaign, we create commercial interior photography designed to present the space at its very best.

WHY EXCEPTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY MATTERS

SHOWCASE DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Great interiors are built around details. Professional photography captures the materials, finishes, lighting, furniture and craftsmanship that define a space, while showing how those elements work together as a complete design.

CAPTURE THE ATMOSPHERE

A successful interior photograph should communicate more than dimensions and layout. Light, composition and perspective can convey the character and atmosphere of a restaurant, hotel, workplace, retail environment or other commercial space.

BUILT FOR PROFESSIONAL PORTFOLIOS

For architects, interior designers, contractors and developers, completed projects are some of their strongest marketing assets. Carefully considered photography creates a lasting visual record of the work and the thinking behind it.

POWER YOUR VISUAL MARKETING

A strong collection of interior images can work across websites, brochures, advertising, PR, social media, presentations, award submissions and editorial features — providing versatile content long after the original shoot.

What sets us apart

Commercial interior photography requires a balance between technical accuracy and creative interpretation. We carefully consider perspective, composition, available light and additional lighting to show both the overall space and the details that give it character.

With decades of professional experience, aberdeenphoto.com understands how different commercial interiors need to be presented. An architect may want to emphasise form and materials, while a hotel or restaurant needs images that communicate atmosphere and experience.

Our aim is simple: to create polished, natural-looking interior photography that respects the original design while making the space visually compelling.

HDR Photography

Beautifully balanced. Naturally detailed.

Bright windows and shaded corners can be difficult to capture in a single photograph. HDR — High Dynamic Range — combines different exposures to reveal more detail across the scene.

Up to Nine exposures. One carefully finished image.

We photograph the same view at nine different exposures, then combine them in post-production.

Detail in the light and the shade.

This helps retain views through windows while bringing out textures and details in darker areas of the room.

A natural finish that respects the design.

Careful editing balances light and contrast, preserving the atmosphere, materials and character of your interior.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN THE FINISHED IMAGE

In the darker exposures, the garden is clearly visible, but much of the kitchen falls into shadow. In the brighter frames, the interior becomes clearer while detail outside the windows starts to disappear. The finished image brings these details together:

The garden remains visible through the glass doors.

The dark cabinetry and stone surfaces retain their texture, rather than disappearing into shadow.

The ceiling and skylight remain balanced with the rest of the room.
