Something that we supply a lot are headshots, usually taken the studio. There are 2 examples below taken in the studio in the last few days
You will see complementary comments from Fiona Campbell who is going to be using the portraits on her new website, (that we are working on), and for profiles on Linkedin etc.
Morning Neil, ….
Love the photo’s so thank you – so much better than the ones I’ve got ….
Have a lovely weekend when it eventually arrives.
Regards, Fiona Campbell of HR-FM
I also received a positive testimonial from Dotimi who wanted the photographs to promote his website or coaching business: www.timcoaching.com.
I just want to thank you to the photographs you took of me for my coaching business. They have had a very good impact for my website and our social media pages. The feedback I have received from the photos have been very good, especially the head shots and the action shots.
I highly recommend Aberdeen Photos and will surely pass on referrals for anyone that needs any type of photography service.
For both of these portraits, I included landscape compositions with “negative space” which can be an effective look, and the space can also be utilised for a logo or text, when used for a profile.
The studio photographs above was for a press release for Kore Solutions, announcing promotion for Martin Kerrigan:
Alongside the studio shots of Martin is a shot of the Duncan the Managing Director on site at one of their clients, KCA Deutag. In each case, the Kore Solutions branding on the clothing has been included.
Apart from individuals, we often work at client offices and take all the staff in a “studio set up” or at work at their desk, and we have lots of samples of different approaches for clients including Hydrasun, McArtney, Aquatic, Halliday Fraser Munro, Vroon, and many others.
We recently photographed staff in Fochabers, Aberdeen, and Brechin, for Savills. They were getting all 4500 UK staff photographed and wanted matching styles for everyone so supplied us with 4 backdrops to use and a very detailed guide on composition, and even the lighting to use.
For Studio headshots, I would usually use two backgrounds, and also have a change of look (formal and more casual). The best images are selected, edited, and presented in a password protected gallery, where you can download the images at different resolutions.
Our custom designed studio is very conveniently located on the main Wellington Road dual carriageway, where we have car parking.
