Photography for Savills | Turlundie Lodge

Last Friday was the first decent weather and I had several jobs to do while the sun was shining. One of the properties I had to photograph was Turlundie Lodge, a beautiful house on Charlestown Road, Aboyne. This traditional family home has a separate building used as guest accommodation, and has stunning river views from the back garden, and a lovely view to the Aboyne Green at the front.

This property is being marketed by Savills and the photography will be used in the brochure, website, office displays, and all other marketing. 

All of the interior shots were created using the HDR technique where we combine several different exposures to balance the light and create a natural look retaining detail in the highlights of the window, and the darker shadow areas of the images.

Fortunately, the home owner who was the Savills client was delighted with the images.

I featured this shoot at BNI for my 60s presentation this week and used sample images on an A3 print.

Last year the members of BNI Scotland North reported income in excess of £15.4 million in new business!

Globally, the 227,000 members of BNI passed over 9.8 million referrals which resulted in more than $13.6 billion in business.

One element of the meeting is that each member has 60 seconds to let the other members and visitors know about their business, and ask for a specific referral. Every week, I show one recent job, or a selection of the work done the week before.
