I was asked by Ambiance Interiors to photograph the work they completed on the extension of the Chester Hotel. Being a regular client of the hotel, I already knew how stunning it was and I was looking forward to this shoot.
I went at 7am on a December morning to get shots without daylight to get an evening feel which worked better for the bar to show of the lighting.
By mid morning, we had a nice winter sun which gave me the light I wanted for the Garden room.
I went through to the new wing to photograph the bedrooms and the entrance and staircase are stunning.
The corridors with the beautiful carpet and artwork are seriously impressive and a great job was done by Karen and her team at Ambiance.
The colour schemes and artwork in the bedroom create a relaxing atmosphere, and show the same attention to design and detail as the public areas.
After the shoot, I met with Karen to view the images on my colour corrected monitors, and decide on any Photoshop work required.
When I was photographing I used a white balance reference tool so that I had a reference as colour balance is important to an interior designer.
Karen was pleased with the results and I hope I get to photograph more of her work, as photographing beautifully designed interiors is a real pleasure. Ambiance will use these on their website, social media, and as part of their portfolio of samples. Karen is also supplying these to her suppliers. We encourage maximum use of the images, and the high-resolution images are supplied with full copyright release are supplied to all commercial clients.
Neil was so helpful, efficient and professional. He has the same attention to detail as us, so it worked well.
AMBIANCE INTERIOR DESIGN
I featured this shoot at BNI.
Last year the members of BNI Scotland North reported income in excess of £15.4 million in new business!
Globally, the 227,000 members of BNI passed over 9.8 million referrals which resulted in more than $13.6 billion in business.
One element of the meeting is that each member has 60 seconds to let the other members and visitors know about their business, and ask for a specific referral. Every week, I show one recent job, or a selection of the work done the week before.
You can see the content I have used at BNI over the last two years here
