Laings Showroom Re-Launch and VIP Event

We are delighted to be working with Laings again. I previously photographed the showroom and the first case study of several planned. I was booked to take some photographs of the VIP launch but prior to that, there was an urgent requirement for an exterior shot that I managed to take and deliver same day to meet their deadline.

At the launch the images were to show the behind the scenes, the entertainment for the guests, and the Kilted Chef, Craig Wilson, of Eat on the Green preparing amazing canopies on the Charles Yorke display kitchen.

The Charles Yorke which is the centrepiece and a working kitchen is one of many stunning kitchens in the Laings showroom, along with bathrooms, bars, and bedroom displays.

Every display is beautifully fitted, and the upgraded showroom is well worth a visit.

On the ground floor there a wide range of bathrooms to suit every taste.

Slideshow

We created a slideshow to show off the Charles Yorke kitchen. Combining images to create a slideshow is a great way to show off features of a product in a fluid presentation. Using stills for this is very cost effective and gives you complete control on how you present your product and can be more effective than a simple gallery of images, and easier and cheaper than video. These can be very effective on social media.

BNI WORKS

Darren Walker, MD of Laings, is a fellow member of BNI, Aberdeen, North (where I am the President), and we meet every Tuesday at 6.30am at the Village Hotel. The group all work to try and pass referrals to each other, effectively giving every member a sales team working for them. Our chapter has passed over £1.3 million between our 24 members.

Last year the members of BNI Scotland North reported income in excess of £15.4 million in new business!

Globally, the 227,000 members of BNI passed over 9.8 million referrals which resulted in more than $13.6 billion in business.

One element of the meeting is that each member has 60 seconds to let the other members and visitors know about their business, and ask for a specific referral. Every week, I show one recent job, or a selection of the work done the week before.
