New website for Zen

Zen in Bon Accord Crescent is the best Chinese restaurant in Aberdeen, and is one of the best Chinese restaurants anywhere. In 2018, it was voted the “Best Chinese restaurant in Aberdeen City and Shire”.

Zen is in a basement building in Bon Accord crescent but is a very stylish and comfortable restaurant with fantastic food and great service.

It is a family owned restaurant with Joe Lee in the kitchen, his wife Coli assisting, and but also front of house, along with daughters Michelle and Rachel, looking after the clients, many of which are regulars who have been going to Zen for years.

I am a regular client at Zen, and Joe is a good friend that I have known for over 35 years, so I was delighted to help with the new Zen website.

We registered a new domain (zenaberdeen.co.uk), set up a holding page, and added images I had taken previously.

I took some new interior and food shots, and may add some more images later.

I also photographed the Lee family but Joe obviously did not get the memo about the dress code so we used Photoshop to change his t-shirt from white to black to match the others.

What a lot of people do not know is that Zen has always had a take away service so that you could collect the amazing food to have at home, but they have just added home delivery to make it even easier and more convenient.
