Scott and Craig at Maryculter House Hotel, 18th August 2018

Saturday 18th August was the wedding of Scott and Craig. I first met Scott when I photographed his brother, Eddie’s wedding. Two years ago, I photographed Scott and Craig with their dogs and 7 puppies, in the studio.

 

The service was at Maryculter House, and was outside and the set up looked great

Both the Grooms were given away by their Mum’s

The humanist service was conducted by Neil Mellis which started with lighting candles, and then the highlight was when the rings were delivered by two Alpacas, and the conclusion was the traditional hand fasting

then there were lots of family groups

before the shots with attendants

and a few of the 2 Grooms

including a confetti shot

The room looked amazing

and the cake was very special

and then on to the speeches where both Mum’s and Craig spoke before the best men

before another surprise – when the waiters (TheBig Show singers) created a great sing along with Craig and Scott joining in. This created an amazing atmosphere.

While the room was prepared for evening, I got some more formal and informal shots

then the Big Show got everyone doing a conga before the glitter ball and first dance

It was an amazing wedding and obviously a lot of work went into the planning. The photography was hard as there were a huge list of family shots and as always, limited time. However it was very enjoyable because of the great atmosphere, and I took over 1700 images, and comments from an email from the Grooms is below:

After you took pictures at my brothers wedding I knew we would struggle to find a company with such high standard and dedication. We have looked at our pictures and I don’t know how we can choose. Neil is amazing at what he does highly recommend. Thanks again Neil and Sandra
